In which I am sore. So sore.

Gordon and I helped our friends Mike and Chris move yesterday. They moved from a third floor apartment to a third floor condo.

Yeah.

I woke up this morning and stairs are now my enemy.

Really, though, it was probably the smoothest move I've ever been a part of. We got their truck packed up and then unloaded (new place was less than ten minutes from the old place) in under four hours. A box spring was sent through the back door by a series of lifting from each porch- amazingly quick. Gordon did manage to get some serious rope burn when they were lowering it down from the third floor, though. I felt so bad for him- I know it hurt. He eventually felt better with some neosporin, gauze, band-aids and some ice and was able to help bring stuff into the new condo where Mike had delicious buffalo chicken meatballs waiting for us in the crockpot. Their new place is beautiful and I'm so glad we could help Chris and Mike settle into their new home!!

Overall, a productive day (millions of calories burned. what? i'm sure it was in the millions) and then we ordered some delicious Indian food for dinner.

That's where the fun ended for me. I was overtaken by a two-Zomig migraine that was the worst I've had in a while. I did not feel better until around 1 or 2am when my body rid itself of my delicious Indian dinner. Blerg.

Feeling somewhat refreshed this morning, if not for some sore sore muscles, Gordon and I made our way to Maynard to help celebrate little Graeme's 2nd birthday. Beau cooked up some tasty tasty ribs and Graeme demanded "truck cake." Nice time with the family.

Gordon and I are busy planning for our honeymoon! It's why I haven't been posting as much as I've wanted to. As it is, I should be in bed RIGHT NOW. We're leaving on Thursday for Canada and I CANNOT WAIT. Haven't had more than three days in a row off since the wedding and we haven't taken a vacation since June of 2009. Needless to say, I am excited. We so we so we so excited. TRUER WORDS WERE NEVER SUNG-SPOKEN, RBLAX.

So, please to enjoy video of Graeme getting his truck cake. And Ewan patiently waiting to help blow out candles. And lick the frosting off them.

oh, many pictures will be taken. That I know.

Yeah, Graeme's a cutie. I have another video of him tearing into some corn on the cob and ribs. He's a machine.
